We build this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or magnification. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML with a single main landmark and a skip-to-content link
- Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for text and interface elements
- Form fields with real labels, grouped controls in fieldsets with legends
- Text alternatives on images; decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology
- Reduced-motion preference respected
- Content reflows to a single column without horizontal scrolling on small screens
